Through the CLC Formation Institute (CLCFI), the CLC endeavors to support individuals and groups, adults and youth to discover and fulfill their mission in the corresponding realities of their lives. CLCFI's task is to create and facilitate formation programs that clarify and render guidance to our members' and others' everyday experience of the Spirit. We desire only these: to set out Church ablaze in renewed faith and mission - to see Christians with souls afire, as we build God's Kingdom in the community.

Programs are open to both CLC members and Non-CLC members. Please contact the CLC Formation Institute (CLCFI) for more information.

All our programs are based on the Spiritual Exercises (SpEx) of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The SpEx are retreats that guide the retreatant into the realization of one's place in God's loving scheme and to embrace the fullness of Christ's person and mission. These are our programs:

Youth Programs or Teen Treats

During the Teen Treats' retreats or recollections, we aim to lead young participants to: better understand the purpose for which they were created -to praise, love, and serve God; begin finding God in all things-their experiences, nature, their life story, Scripture, Sacraments, on another, etc.; feel gratitude for all that has been and will be; desire to love and serve God by loving and serving others.

One Day Recollections

Journeying Towards God
This recollection will lead the participants to see life from a faith point of view as coming from and leading to God, our loving Father, while also appreciating oneself as a blessed creation of God.

On the Road to God, Our Home
This recollection helps the participants discover who they are in the eyes of God and their significant others, and thus, better appreciate and love themselves and others, as part of their journey toward their Eternal Home in God.

Lives Blessed, Broken and Shared
This recollection leads the participants to accept and deeply appreciate themselves and others as important members of the Body of Christ who are blessed, broken and to be shared.

Marked with the Fingerprints of God
This recollection leads the participants to recall their blessings and be affirmed about their dignity and that of others so that they may reach out to others with greater respect and compassion.

From Love, of Love and for Love
This recollection leads the participants to recall how they have been loved by God into being. They will also pray over how they have responded to God's loving invitation so they can respond to God with greater generosity.

Two Day Recollection

Take this Cup
This recollection helps participants to deepen their spiritual life and their desire to help build the Kingdom of God in and through community.

Three Day Retreat

This retreat will lead the participants to explore the different qualities of freedom as a gift, a choice, and a responsibility. A special element of this retreat is a dialogue between parents and the teen participants.

Freedom for Service
This retreat will challenge the participants to be free from obstacles so they can be free to see, love and follow God.

Sonship
This retreat leads participants to realize that they are God's children who are invited to celebrate this legacy through the Incarnation. Through this they will realize that no material thing, achievement or person can completely fill the gaps in their lives but God, from whom they come and are going to.

Pagsunod sa Punong Pinuno

This youth leadership program leads the participants to discover their leadership potentials, affirm their giftedness, recognize their role as leaders, and where God wants them to lead as followers of Christ, our model of leadership.
